Perspective most read in 2017 in ACS Photonics

Our “Single Photon Nano-antennas” Perspective is 2017’s most read paper in ACS Photonics. The Perspective reviews the use of plasmon antennas for single-photon applications, an idea first launched at the 2006 Gordon Conference on plasmonics. The paper reviews the essential figures of merit, how to measure them, and the phenomenal performance of recently reported antenna types. Finally it offers a perspective on future challenges.
